BANDANA CARE

My bandanas are made of 100% cotton, and are light weight - similar to a classic paisley bandana. They should be hand washed in cold water. Hang dry or lie flat to dry and iron as needed. These are cotton and have not been preshrunk, therefore they may shrink if washed in hot water, or dried in a dryer. The ink is water-based and will soften with wash and wear.

TOTE BAG CARE

My tote bags are made of 100% cotton, and are light weight. They have not been preshrunk, therefore have they may shrink and wrinkle if washed, or dried in a dryer. Spot cleaning is recommended, or hand-washing in cold water if necessary.

ENAMEL PIN CARE

Enamel pins may tarnish over over time and copper enamel may tarnish faster than other metals. This is temporary and can be fixed by polishing your pins. This is only for hard enamel pins, if you attempt to polish soft enamel pins this process may remove the color fills. The best way to remove tarnish is by polishing your pins with a jewelry grade polishing cream or cloth. These are available for under $10 online and last for a long time. Use one that is non-abrasive, non-toxic and all natural. Follow the directions on the product you purchase and polish your pins as gently as possible. You can test a small area first, before polishing the whole pin. If you cannot get access to polishing cream, it is possible to use a small amount of toothpaste to remove tarnish in the same way, but I would not recommend this method. Do not use citrus, vinegar, a polishing machine, or house hold cleaner to polish your pins, all of these will cause damage.
